This is a great dessert hummus, perfect for dipping in fruit!
Chocolate Hummus (from The Conscientious Eater)
- 1 15 oz. can chickpeas, drained and rinsed (or 1.5 cups cooked from dry)
- 2 tablespoons cacao powder
- 5 tablespoons date syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender or food processor and process until smooth.
- Taste and add more cacao powder or date syrup to taste.
- Serve with fresh fruit!
