Date Balls – 3 ways!

These simple date balls make a perfect grab-and-go snack, can satisfy your sweet tooth, and can be made in several different ways for lots of variations!

Version 1: Chocolate Date Balls

  • 1.5 cups walnuts
  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Version 2: Peanut Butter Date Balls

  • 1.5 cups peanuts
  • 1 cup Medjool dates, pitted

Version 3: Coconut Date Balls

  • 1.5  cups walnuts
  • 1 cups Medjool dates, pitted
  • 3/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut

Directions:

  1. Place your walnuts or peanuts into a food processor and blend until crumbly.
  2. Add all other ingredients for your date balls and blend until throughly combined. If it is too dry add about a tablespoon of water. If it is too sticky, add more nuts (you can also add some rolled oats).
  3. Roll the mixture into balls. Eat as is or roll them into unsweetened shredded coconut, cocoa powder, crushed pistachios, cacao nibs, hemp seeds, or any other favorite topping ingredients.
  4. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
